Locations of firing ranges in and around Krakow are varied.

For noise reasons you will not find any shooting ranges within the defined area of the Old Town so the chances are that you will either have to catch a taxi or book an organised trip to one of the local shooting ranges.

The shooting ranges are dotted around the centre of Krakow. Some are relatively close to the Old Town, but just on the outskirts, whilst others are a little bit further afield i.e. 20-30 mins drive away.

Location should not really present itself as a problem as we recommend any visitors to Krakow to download the Bolt app on their phones (equivalent to our Uber) and from this app you can price and plan your journeys very easily.

An even easier option is to book an organised tour to one of the shooting ranges where a driver will collect you from your hotel, drive you to the shooting range and at the end of the day drive you back to your hotel again. Tickets and reservations would all be taken care of for you.

Safety first

Safety is THE most important aspect of any shooting range and the ones in Krakow are no different. Remember you will be firing LIVE ammo.

Customers shooting themselves or each other isn’t very good for business so expect strict guidelines and VERY close observation at ALL times.

Instructors are all fully qualified and registered and they will explain to you (in English) everything you need to know to make your experience fun and safe.

A common acronym to follow is “G-B-S-T” Gun-Barrel-Surroundings-Trigger

Gun-The instructors will tell you to treat every weapon you see as if it is loaded and ready to fire…..even when it is not.

Barrel-Loaded or unloaded, the barrel of the gun should always be pointed either at the target, the ceiling or the floor and never, EVER, at anybody else.

Surroundings-It might seem obvious but always be aware of your surroundings and those in the same area as you.

Trigger-The trigger should only be touched when you are ready to fire at the target. Not before. Not after.

Expect to be asked to sign a waiver form and don’t even think of attending if you are under the influence of any alcohol or drugs as you will not be allowed.

Ear protection and eye protection will be provided to you by the shooting range venue.

The Importance of Signing Waivers

Signing a waiver is a crucial step before participating in activities at any of the shooting ranges in Krakow.

Waivers are designed to inform you of the potential risks involved and to ensure that you acknowledge these risks.

They typically include details about safety protocols, your responsibilities while on the range, and the rights of both parties. By signing, you agree to adhere to the safety guidelines, which are in place to protect you and others.

This process helps the shooting range to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
